Measurement of the level of emitted radio interference according to DSTU IEC 61000
We provide professional services for measuring the level of emitted radio interference in accordance with the requirements of the DSTU IEC 61000 standard (a series of standards for electromagnetic compatibility – EMC). This test allows you to determine how well electronic or electrical equipment meets the requirements for limiting electromagnetic emissions that can interfere with other devices.
EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) testing is mandatory for product certification in Ukraine and EU countries, as it allows assessing how safely a device operates under the influence of electromagnetic interference and does not interfere with other devices.
Radiated radio interference is electromagnetic waves emitted by an electronic device or system into the surrounding space. If the level of this interference exceeds the permissible limits, it can negatively affect the operation of other nearby equipment (e.g., communication systems, alarms, medical equipment).
Who needs this test?:
- – Manufacturers of electronic and electrical equipment;
- – Suppliers of imported products;
- – Certification bodies;
- – R&D (Research and Development) departments that carry out research and development activities at the enterprise;
- – Industrial system integrators.
We also conduct :
Testing electrical equipment for resistance to electrostatic discharge (ESD testing)

Regulatory framework in the sector
- Technical regulations on electromagnetic compatibility of equipment (Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 1077 dated December 16, 2015);
- Directive 2014/30/EU Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC);
- DSTU IEC 61000-4-2:2008 ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY. Test methods
and measurements.
Testing for immunity
to electrostatic discharges
(IEC 61000-4-2:2001, IDT)
Manufacturers who plan to export their products to the European market must take into account that electrical equipment and appliances must undergo conformity assessment in accordance with Directive 2014/30/EU on electromagnetic compatibility.
Only full compliance with the requirements of Directive 2014/30/EU entitles the manufacturer to CE marking, release, and free circulation on the European electrical equipment market. Compliance with the requirements of the Directive is mandatory for all market participants: manufacturers, importers, and distributors, who must ensure compliance of equipment with European legislation at every stage.
Cost of testing
The cost of work in each specific case is calculated separately depending on the selected test methods, the type and complexity of the tests, the number of samples, and other factors.
